Advanced Technologies being its specialism, the school has to offer constantly evolving high-level training. Students are offered optimum working conditions as well as tailor-made courses of studies that can come up to their various expectations: project engineer, entrepreneur engineer, or field engineer.
Each ISTASE student can find an appropriate answer to his or her previous training, to his motivations and to his career project.
- Training or internships abroad will meet the wish to have an international experience.
- It is possible to obtain a double qualification in entrepreneuriat or research.
- If a student wishes to be even more autonomous, he can follow an original tele-training course via the internet during his last year.
ISTASE has a close partnership with the industrial world in its sectors of activity, and benefits from a particularly favourable environment. The school is a major component of the Rhône-Alpes Optic Partnership, which gathers the research competence of its laboratories, actors of innovation (start-ups), and the material means of technological platforms on a single site close to ISTASE. ISTASE is thus well-equipped to fulfil its several missions: training engineers, research and development, and the transfer of skills and technologies.
